NEW DELHI: An angry BJP worker threw a shoe at party’s Prime Ministerial candidate, L. K. Advani on Thursday.
According to Indian media, the BJP worker Pawas Agarwal threw a shoe at Advani in Madhya Pradesh during first phase of Indian Lok Sabha polls. The police arrested Agarwall.
Earlier, A Sikh journalist threw a shoe at Indian Home Minister P. Chidambaram at a press conference, protesting against the minister’s reply on his question on CBI’s clean chit to Congress leader Jagdish Tytler in the 1984 Sikh riots case.
