UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi filed her nomination from Raebareli parliamentary constituency of UP state on April 11.
She offered puja at the Congress’ central office in Raebareli before filing her nomination. The voting will be held on May 6 and will mark a straight contest between former Congress chief and Dinesh Pratap Singh (now joined BJP) and Sonia Gandhi.
It is to note that she had won the seat in 2004, 2006 (bypolls), 2009 and 2014
